The mission of the Maine Women's Policy Center is to increase social, political, and economic opportunities for Maine women and girls through public policy and leadership development. Maine Women's Policy Center conducts research, education, outreach, and public policy development on issues that have a direct impact on women and girls, namely: economic security, health care including reproductive rights, civil rights, and freedom from violence, and works in conjunction with the Maine Women's Lobby to advance those policies through legislative action.
