Curamericas Global, Inc. is a non-profit, private voluntary organization based in Raleigh, North Carolina. For more than 26 years, Curamericas Global has been providing primary health care and practical health education to over 141,000 women of reproductive age and children under five years of age living in rural and semi-urban communities. Our work began in Bolivia and we now work in Guatemala, Liberia and Haiti. Preventable diseases like malnutrition, pneumonia, and complications from child birth go undetected and untreated by families. In response to the need for health care, Curamericas Global has worked to provide greater and easier access to medical facilities while training local mothers and leaders in the detection and treatment of illnesses affecting their families.
