Cause Description:
The New School of Music is a small non-profit community music school offering music lessons to all ages since 1976 (located in Cambridge, MA). Our mission is to provide music instruction to all who seek it, and to share the talents of our faculty with the community through an extensive concert and outreach program. NSM presents free concerts to the Cambridge community on a regular basis. Several years ago NSM launched MusicReach, a program with two equally important branches - sending the outstanding faculty to our school to the Cambridge Public Elementary Schools for performance/demonstrations, and giving need-based financial assistance to those who seek it. The New School of Music is a full member of the National Guild of Community Schools of the Arts.
