Cause Description:
GNBCHC is a comprehensive medical and dental center with a staff consisting of more than 170 personnel, including physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants, nurses, nutritionists and allied health care providers, supported by translators and benefits counselors. The Center has recruited a full primary care staff of 3 pediatricians, 7 adult medicine physicians, 3 adult urgent care physicians, associated nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. The Center’s dental staff consists of a Dentist, a Registered Hygienist, and a Certified Dental Assistant. Primary care services include Adult Medicine, Perinatal Care, Pediatrics, Confidential Teen Clinic, HIV/AIDS Primary Care, and Dentistry. The Health Center is the provider of the region's Women, Infants and Children (WIC) nutrition program for mothers and children at risk. In addition, the GNBCHC has specialty clinics in podiatry, pediatric neurology, gynecology, and HIV. It also has unscheduled Urgent Care, which is an access point for both children and adults. On-site lab and radiology are provided and complete the ancillary service components.
