Cause Description:
MCCD, The Midwest Council for Children with Disabilities, which was founded in 1997 by a small group of businessmen to provide financial assistance to children challenged physically, developmentally or cognitively. We specifically respond with the means to pursue treatments and therapies that are not covered by insurance. We provide financial assistance for speech, physical, occupational and hippotherapy on a weekly basis. It is important to know that 100% of every dollar raised, after the cost of the event, is used for the children. We have no employees, no rent, no overhead or administration expense. No director receives expense reimbursement or financial compensation, nor does any director have any children or relatives in the program.
