Cause Description:
IICD - Institute for International Cooperation and Development - is a nonprofit organization that since 1987 has trained volunteers from around the world to take part in creating peace and development through active participation in development projects in Africa and Brazil. Develop the world, develop yourself. The Development Instructors train for 6 months at IICD and work at projects in Africa for 6 or 12 months where they train primary school teachers, fight HIV/AIDS, work at Child Aid projects or environmental projects. The costs of the program are covered through tuition and the participant's fundraising.
