Cause Description:
We are a not-for-profit no-kill shelter housing about 250 abandoned, abused and neglected cats and kittens. We are a small group of volunteers doing the extraordinary for animals in our care. We do not routinely euthanize cats because they are old, sick, feral or afflicted with FeL or FIV. We have no grants or fund-raising events and depend solely upon our own monies and your donations. Our mission for over 35 years has been to alleviate the suffering of cats, to place our cats in loving, permanent, indoor homes, to promote spay/neuter programs in our surrounding communities and to educate the public on the problem of overpopulation of companion animals. Any donation made to Maggie's Cats is used solely for the animals.
