The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, founded in 1993 by Evelyn H. Lauder, is dedicated to funding clinical and translational research on breast cancer at major medical facilities worldwide. More than 90 cents of every dollar raised by the Foundation, over $330 million cumulatively since 1993, goes directly to breast cancer research grants and awareness programs. Our mission is to achieve prevention and a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime. The Foundation’s Board of Scientific Advisors directs grants where they will have the greatest impact, to innovative research projects that have the potential for rapid clinical application and success. The Foundation welcomes contributions from individuals, foundations and corporations, in the hope that through concerted efforts, we will achieve our mission.
