Liberation Community, Inc.

Ft. Worth, Texas

Cause Description:
We have created the opportunity for a diverse range of individuals and groups to offer their services to communities that are often underserved and overlooked. This is done through AmeriCorps VISTA, court assigned service hours, college and high school students, and individuals throughout the metroplex area. Where we are not a religious organization, we do emphasize a spiritual aspect in the way we serve. Our programs are focused on working together with community residents to involve them in training and leadership roles in order to bring about social change through civic engagement.
