The Chris Skinner Make it Count Association (currently applying for 501 (c) (3) non-profit status) is dedicated in its effort to assist in the education and encouragement of responsible decision making in young adults with an emphasis on academic achievement, overcoming adversities and avoiding high risk behaviors, such as drugs and alcohol. Chris Skinner is a quadrapalegic after a near-fatal drunk driving accident in the summer of 2000. He is currently traveling the country and speaking to High Schools, College Students and churches in an attempt to motivate them and make them aware of the consequences of high risk behaviors, such as alcohol abuse and drugs.
