Wall Street Rising is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization formed in October 2001. We are dedicated to restoring the vibrancy, confidence and vitality that existed in Lower Manhattan prior to the devastating events of September 11, 2001. The organization seeks to enhance and promote the reputation of Lower Manhattan as a thriving 24-hour, seven-day-a-week commercial, retail and residential community. The goals of our programs are to increase foot traffic to the area and to plant new seeds for the community’s retail, residential and cultural growth. Wall Street Rising intends to continue to act as one of the primary vehicles for outreach, programming, advertising and marketing for the revitalization of the area.
