The Pikes Peak Gay and Lesbian Community Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, incorporated in 1981. With more than twenty years of service, the organization's purpose is to create a level playing field for the LGBT community in Colorado Springs. The PPGLCC has accomplished this goal by acting as a clearinghouse for information and resources, serving as a voice for the LGBT community, coordinating Colorado Springs PrideFest and social events, and through providing various programs such as free counseling, men's and women's groups, discrimination defense, and many others.
