EarthCorps is a non-profit located in Seattle that operates conservation corps programs year-round. We train young adults, ages 18-24, in the skills and concepts of environmental restoration. We also accomplish over 60,000 person hours of habitat restoration work each year in the greater Seattle area. We train young people from the US and countries around the world. Youth Leadership Development, International Educational Exchange. Cascadia Quest is a nonprofit organization founded in 1993 with the mission to foster environmental responsibility and global cooperation among young people of the world. Each year, young people from King County join their peers from around the world to restore native habitat. This work includes restoring salmon habitat, reclaiming logging roads, replanting eroded slopes, and building trails. In addition to the hands-on work, members learn about other important environmental issues through intercultural exchange and educational workshops.
