Currently in its 17th Season, Kim Robards Dance is an award-winning, professional modern dance touring company that provides mainstage performances, educational outreach programs, and a school for dance training. Since its inception artistic excellence and educational programming have been inextricably fused. The mission of KRD is to further interculteral understanding and to culturally enrich the lives of people of diverse ages and backgrounds thruogh educating, creating, performing, and broadening the availability of modern dance as a performing art. The methods through which goals are accomplished include: mainstage theater performances; educational outreach performances and workshops; repertory development and commissions; statewide, national and international touring residencies; and operation of the KRD school of dance training.
