Cause Description:
Pet pals northeast inc. is an all-volunteer, non profit, animal rescue group regonized as a 501(c)3 organization. No Kill shelter. All donations are tax deductible and greatly appreciated. We rescue over 350 animals each year over half from dog pounds or kill shelters. Our shelters operate at full capacity and provide a loving home enviorment. Empahasis is placed on the most needy or handicaped. We have a early spay and neuter policy. All are vaccinate and tested. All rescues are placed in approved foster homes with a minimum of 5 years experience in animal rescue or in one of our three privately owned shelters. We have feral cat colonies we rescue and feral colony caretakers we support throughout the year with food, altering and vet. care. Pet Pals Northeast Inc. provides a loving forever sanctuary to all animals unless adopted. We receive no town, state or government funding. We are totally funded by adoption fees, donations and fundraisers.All adoptions are done by appointment and matchs are carefully made by screening. Pet Pals Northeast Inc. educates children and adults on proper pet care and ownership. We respond to injured animal calls, provide spay/neuter and vaccination assistance.
