Cause Description:
Songtime is a non-denominational, not-for-profit, international radio ministry bringing the Good News of Jesus Christ to the world. Songtime’s purpose is to support the efforts of the “church organism” primarily through the media of radio, but also through tapes, the internet, books, and other printed material. Our radio broadcast is used to help promote special projects as well as the benevolent endeavors of other ministries. For nearly 40 years Songtime has been a beacon that calls people to reconciliation with God and to one another. This emphasis on reconciliation and biblical values helps families to stay together, gives hope to the hopeless, and fosters perseverance in those facing difficult times. This call also demands a response that results in the demonstration of the love of God through acts of good will by individuals, families, and communities. Songtime also challenges people to personal and civic responsibility. These things are accomplished through the means of radio, audio and printed resources, the Internet, and personal and community outreach. All these things result in strengthening individuals, families, churches, communities, and has the ultimate effect of making the world a better place.
