Cause Description:
It's a ROTTn PITy! Rescue is an all dog rescue, accepting all breeds and mixes, but focusing our efforts on Rottweilers and Pit Bulls. We work with shelters, other rescues, and individuals to help as many animals as possible. We are trying to raise money for filing our non profit status, as well as to expand our reach into community education, particularly children in areas at great risk of learning dog fighting, spay and neuter programs, and theraPIT and thereaROTT therapy dog programs. We do not have a shelter, and rely on volunteer foster homes to provide safe havens for rescued animals, but find that we have to turn so many away. We would also like to establish a new shelter that would be sanctuary like in effect and standards.
