Samaritan Counseling Center of the Capital Region -founded in 1985 - provides holistic individual, couples, family and group counseling to people of varied financial means. The center has many programs to assist those who seek psychological health, but who cannot afford the full cost of counseling. Some of these programs include: survivors of sexual abuse, children at risk, families and clergy. Client requests for funding always exceed the available funds.
