Cause Description:
The Dog and Fosters Rescue Team. The Dog FART is an organization that strives to help save dogs from shelters in North Carolina. We work with shelters in the area and national rescue groups to pull dogs before they are euthanized. With our help these dogs stay in a temporary foster home until they can be transported out of state to the rescue and be adopted. We are not a rescue ourselves, we are the fosters, rescuers, and transporters who see the horrible problems around us and want to change the situation. As we grow we would also like to help the public by creating spay and neuter events, rabies and shot clinics, educational workshops to help the public gain an understanding of proper dog care so that dogs and humans can live more successful lives.
