Strengthening Lives and Communities By Providing Free Healing Gardens To People with Special Needs A public 501(c)(3) charitable organization EIN 56-2233481 HortWorks programs strengthen minds, bodies, spirits, and communities by providing free therapeutic gardens to people with special needs; and, by enabling displaced workers, older adults, and survivors of domestic abuse to be engaged in personally meaningful employment in a life-affirming profession that relieves financial worry and ensures quality time with family and children. We are based in North Carolina and expanding through the US, working with other non profit organizations, social service agencies, schools, and a large pool of volunteers. The core of our organization is the application of horticultural therapy - for all ages, abilities, genders, and cultures.
