Cause Description:
Estacada Public Library Foundation is an important partner supporting and enriching library services to the community of Estacada. It was created in 1998 by members of the community dedicated to improving the Library through increased private support. It is an independent, nonprofit, charitable entity that relies on financial contributions from local residents to promote the growth and excellence of their library services. The Foundation’s first capital campaign is dedicated to the construction of a new library. The present library's square footage is less than minimum public library standards. Increased space is desperately needed in order to expand and enrich the library services that can be offered to the residents of this area as well as the county as a whole.
