Cause Description:
We are an outreach program to assist special needs Appalachian families. Our staff and volunteers repair homes, tutor children, provide educational activities and field trips, assist with financial and medical needs, provide Christmas gifts and school supplies to low income children and partner with other agencies to assist the elderly, handicapped, state care children and temporary homeless famlies. We are a christian based organization but we don't promote any theology. We teach salvation is the only way out of sin and education and hard work are the ways to escape poverty. I am the director of the outreach program and I am willing to answer any questions you may have. I love the kids and I love my job and I love God. If you would like to help-- oh how much we would appreciate it!
