It is our prayer at EDS Genetic Connection to continue to produce the Official Ehlers Danlos Awareness Pin/Symbol called "The Frayed Knot". With this Symbol it is our Goal to Promote Greater Awareness Internationally, Individually & Medically. Thousands of People as well as the Medical Field go Unaware of those who Suffer from Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (AKA's EDS). A Rare Heritable Connective Tissue Disorder, Characterized by Articular (Joint) Hypermobility-moving beyond the joint's normal range, Prone to Frequent Dislocations and/or Subluxations & Joint Pain. Skin Extensibility and Tissue Fragility (tears & bruise easily). The Fragile Skin & Unstable Joints found in EDS are the Result of Faulty Collagen. Collagen is a Protein, which acts as a "GLUE" in the body, adding Strength and Elasticity to Connective Tissue. Would you help us spread the word with this Awareness Pin????
