Cause Description:
The Renfrew Center Foundation is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating eating disorders as a life-threatening disease through education, prevention, research and access to treatment. We sponsor activities for the general public and health professionals including screenings, seminars, and speaking engagements. We conduct research on eating disorders in order to find creative treatment options and improve recovery rates. We also encourage the community to educate policy makers on the dangers of eating disorders in order to change laws that prevent people from seeking treatment.
