Cause Description:
For over 85 years, the Cooper Community Center has supported the local community with offering quality Early Childhood Education, Pre-School, and an After-School program for children ages 2 months to 12 years. Cooper also offers free computer classes and public access hours to the community. The "Forget-Me-Not" Seniors club is also part of the Cooper network. All Cooper's constituents are from low-income, disadvantaged, often single-parent, homes from the Lower Roxbury, Jamaica Plain, and Dorchester area.
