nonprofit supporting environmental education for the San Francisco Bay area. Develops and implements exhibits, programs and workshops for students, teachers and the public.The Bay Model Association assists the educational efforts of the Rangers/Interpreters at the San Francisco Bay Model-a 2 acre scale model of the San Francisco Bay and Delta. The Model is run as a scientific research center by the USArmy Corps of Engineers.Regulatory agencies, international scientists, academic institutions and local environmental organizations are some of the users of the facility. Admission to the model is free and the Rangers/Interpreters are available for group tours.
