Cause Description:
SITE offers students, educators, and administrators reliable tools for implementing, expanding, and maintaining a school - wide laptop immersion program. Set up as a non - profit, SITE will offer schools an opporunity to really create a working laptop immersion program thourgh donating laptops and other necesities, lowering prices on items that arent donated, assisting in the creation and implementation of new technology - rich curriculum, and thourgh various traning programs. Intial focus will be development of the Canyon High School Laptop Immersion Program in order to create a model school for upcoming laptop programs. Later, SITE will spread out to assist other schools to model after the program set up at Canyon High School. SITE ultimately provides excellent resources to schools looking for the classroom of the future in which students can learn, grasp, grow, and excel on the education provided to them.
