Cause Description:
We are a cat/kitten spay & neuter organization. We are dedicated to humanely reducing the stray and feral cat population. We test, vaccinate and spay/neuter EVERY cat/kitten before we place it in a home. We really hope you will help to support us in ending this epidemic problem. We are a non-profit, NO-KILL, feline rescue based out of East Haven, CT, practicing "early age spay and neuter prior to adoption." This practice is endorsed by the AVMA. The shelter places over 200 cats and kittens per year into caring homes within Connecticut and does it with the help of volunteers and donations. EVERY cat/kitten is tested and vaccinated prior to adoption. We sterilize feral and stray cats/kittens, probide vaccinations for rabies and feline distemper at the time of surgery, crop an ear of a sterilized cat/kitten to identify it as already sterilized. We do much more then that. We love and care for these kitties until they are placed in loving homes.
