MO Literacy Association is a grassroots volunteer statewide organization. It assists local literacy councils in serving literacy needs of the youth and adult learners in their communities by providing expertise in tutoring training, board of directors'training, grant writing, establishing a 501(c)3 status, and sponsoring low-cost conferences for students and volunteers to learn from one another and hear the success stories of adults who have gone on to receive their GED and pursue college or vocational education.
