Cause Description:
This cause is to build and promote awareness and assistance to deaf senior citizens in retirement or nursing homes, who have been wrongfully deemed incompetent beause of their deafness and are not able to obtain proper care for their deafness. Donations needed immediately (08-12/01) to assist my own mother, out of state. Should this goal be attained prior to 12/01, all proceeds will be used to assist deaf seniors in the Michigan area, as will 10% of all proceeds to help my mom obtain the assistance she needs. An additional 10% of all proceeds will be used to formally reserve this non-profit under it's permanent name and make it tax deductible to further it's mission for the Deaf Elderly.
