Cause Description:
The mission of the Operation Kids Foundation is to serve the Whole Child by supporting with cash grants and vital services the work of effective and deserving children’s charities. In effect, the Operation Kids Foundation is a charity for charities. The Foundation offers support for nonprofits at two levels, identified as “OK Causes” and “OK Charities.” OK Causes, with broad appeal and proven effectiveness, will receive ongoing support from the Foundation without having to make a yearly application. OK Charities will receive one or more kinds of periodic support. So when donors support Operation Kids, their money and time will help sustain a host of charities, branded with the Foundation’s acronym, “OK.” By virtue of its unique approach, the strength of its strategy, the breadth of its appeal and the depth of its focus, the Operation Kids Foundation is positioned to revolutionize the world of children’s charities in the United States.
