Alexian Brothers The Harbor A House. A Home. Hope. Alexian Brothers The Harbor opened in 1998 and has served over 80 men and women living with HIV/AIDS who also have a history of substance abuse and/or mental illness. Eight men and women from the Lake County Illinois area call The Harbor home. With an array of supportive services and connections to other services in the area, our residents live in an enriching community. The Harbor offers hope with safe transtional housing for individuals to stabalize their physical, emotional and spiritual health.
