Cause Description:
I come to you with a problem as I have tried to correct myself, but need some help. My son has suffered a massive hearing loss including being totally deaf in his left ear and 60% deaf in his right. I am told that the only way he will have any type of normal hearing is for him to receive hearing aids. I have spent thousands of dollars on operations for tubes, to try and correct this problem, however it did not restore his hearing. The only option I have left is to try and raise the money or obtain assistance in obtaining the necessary hearing aid devices. I am a single parent and have already depleted my savings and retirement to try and correct this hearing loss. He is a very bright and loving child. I know if someone could help us purchase these hearing aids, they would see they would definitely be put to good use. Even though he has suffered this loss he still continues to achieve the A-B honor roll at his school.
