The Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation is dedicated to the eradication of breast cancer through early detection, education, advocacy and research. Founded in 1987 by her friends and family, Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation honors the memory of songwriter Linda Creed who fought breast cancer for ten years, dying at the age of 37, leaving behind a husband and two small daughters. It is a growing non-profit organization, funded solely through private donation. The money raised enables the Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation to provide free mammograms and educational programs to hundreds of women in the Philadelphia area. Additionally, the Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation provides information to those facing the trauma of breast cancer to help them make informed decisions, while staying by their side, providing support, empathy and encouragement.
