Cause Description:
Res-Q-1 is a pending non-profit corporation that rescues dogs in need of homes in Ashland, Crawford, Marion, Morrow and Richland counties in Ohio. We are entirely volunteer run, and our dogs are housed in foster homes rather than a kennel. This allows them to be better socialized, and better trained, and tends to make the transition to a new home easier. Our dogs come from shelters or are owner surrenders. All dogs taken into Res-Q-1 are assessed for temperament, abilities, and needs. All animals are spayed/neutered and heartworm tested. They are crate trained and have all vaccinations appropriate for the age of the animals at the time they are adopted. All puppies are also dewormed.
