Founded in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the Presidents' Summit for America's Future, America's Promise aims to provide every at-risk child in America with access to the fundamental resources needed in order for them to lead happy, healthy and productive lives. America's Promise works to mobilize national and local commitments from the private and public sectors, and more generally raise awareness of the importance of these five key resources to America's youth. America's Promise is designed to be a fluid alliance of corporations, foundations, organizations, communities of promise, public agencies and individuals that will together ensure that our promises to America's young people are kept.
