Cause Description:
The mission of Aid to Adoption of Special Kids (AASK) is to ensure every Arizona foster child has someone who cares through adoption and foster care placement, mentoring and family support. These children are: survivors of abuse and neglect; developmentally challenged; medically fragile due to premature birth and/or exposure to drugs, alcohol, or HIV/AIDS; and/or considered "special needs" due to their age, ethnicity and membership in a sibling group. AASK offers a continuum of care for these children and the foster/adoptive families and mentors who have opened their hearts to some of state's most vulnerable children.
