OUR PURPOSE IS TO PROTECT AND PROVIDE FOR ANIMALS, WHILE FOSTERING AN AWARENESS OF THEIR IMPORTANCE IN OUR LIVES. The Humane Society of Washington County is committed to the following: •Humane education to instill respect for all living beings. •The sheltering of unwanted and homeless animals. •Companion animal adoption which will provide for a lifelong, secure home. •Spay/Neuter assistance to help stop pet overpopulation. •Safe Haven Program to provide temporary housing of domestic violence victims’ pets. •Provide health and safety to all citizens of Washington County through providing Animal Control services.
