Cause Description:
Joshua's Inc. ( Joshua's Farm was formed in 1996 in honor and memory of 9 year old Joshua who died of Hurler's Syndrome. His courage, joy, and love of life was the inspiration for the farm. Joshua's Farm utilizes the natural attributes of a working farm to provide an accessible and therapeutic environment for the growth and development of children and adults with disabilities and special needs. All barriers are left at the gate. Activities include: interacting with farm animals, gardening in raised beds, horseback riding, and exploring nature trails. The Farm will also provide job training and peer buddy programs as well as family and sibling support.
