The Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA is an independent, private, non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of our animal friends. For over 90 years, this shelter has served the west San Gabriel Valley, and is now the most comprehensive animal control and welfare agency in the area. We care for more than 10,000 animals who come through our shelter each year. We provide service for six area cities: Pasadena, South Pasadena, San Marino, La Canada/ Flintridge, Sierra Madre and Arcadia. These services include animal control, investigation of all reports of cruelty and neglect, low-cost spay/neuter, reuniting lost pets with their families, dog licensing for La Canada and Arcadia, cat and dog behavior help and puppy training classes, pet adoptions and humane education.
