Also known as the Heart of the Catskills Humane Society, we are a private, non-profit animal shelter serving 95% of Delaware County, NY, as well as some townships outside the county. We care for homeless or lost dogs and cats, provide them with medical attention and much needed care and socialization with the goal of matching them with a perfect lifelong home. We are funded by memberships and donations and welcome new members and volunteers! Our programs have been highlighted in articles in the ASPCA newsletter. Our programs: Project Dog, Humane Education, Spay-Neuter, Pet crematory services, Lilac Lane Pet Memorial Program, Rainbow Bridge Memorial Program, Adoption Services, Dog Obedience Training Classes, Foster Home Program.
