Cause Description:
Our school lies in an ethnically diverse, and economically depressed, though quickly gentrifying neighborhood. This has caused the school to lose over a hundred thousand dollars in Chapter 1 monies within the past two years. Suddenly, there is little money for the necessities, much less the extras like field trips. The mothers have gotten together to fund raise using every method available. We are planning a special year for our children, including scholarship funding, math and reading nights, and trips to the theater and dance, if we can raise the money. Your help would be more than appreciated. If you are not able to send funds, new books are always needed. The money or donation will be given in your name.
