Cause Description:
The Phoenix Project of Northwest Ohio, Inc. was formed to provide social, community, activism and leadership training opportunities for gay, bisexual, trans*, questioning and supportive straight teens age 13-17, and to provide volunteer opportunities for concerned young adults age 18-20 and adults age 21+. We currently serve the NW Ohio and SE Michigan areas, but are looking to expand services to "virtual members" online worldwide, and through the creation of new regional chapters in other areas. Our most ambitious goal is to build the Nora Stombaugh Memorial Drop-In Center by the year 2010. Grant money often cannot be used to buy property or to purchase or build buildings, so our building fund relies on private donations. Thank-you for your help.
