Chinese Staff & Workers' Association is grassroots organization that brings together prodominantly low-income Chinese working people to fight for our labor and human rights in our workplaces and in our community-at-large. With two drop-in centers, one in Manhattan's Chinatown and one Brooklyn's Sunset Park, we work to challenge the the sweatshop system, to counter racism and sexism, and to work for social and economic justice. Among our organizing and educational programs are our Garment Workers' Health & Safety Project, Women's Empowerment Project, Chinese Construction Workers' Association: Better Jobs Project, Campaign to Enforce Labor Laws, Youth Group, Video & Documentary Project, ESL program and citizenship courses.
