GirlSite is an Internet-based program, designed to empower girls with creative and technological skills. GirlSite's web site is located at URL address: http://www.girlsite.org. Internet training sessions are currently offered at several locations in Los Angeles and other cities. Girlsite is directed by HighwoodN.P, a non-profit organization, and sponsored by Community Partners. Community Partners enables Southern Californians, especially in under-served communities, to meet and master the challenges of urban and rural life by creating and strengthening opportunities for the emergence of community-building ideas, innovations, leaders and social entrepreneurs.
