The Metropolitan Area Neighborhood Nutrition Alliance (MANNA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting nutrition to people and communities with life-threatening illnesses, notably cancer, renal disease and HIV/AIDS. MANNA provides a unique health service in the community and fills a service gap by combining Medical Nutrition Therapy with the provision of food that meets specific dietary needs of people with compromised immune systems and severe malnourishment. MANNA is the only organization in the greater Philadelphia region that provides medically appropriate meals for people battling illnesses, and the only organization of our kind in the country that provides comprehensive nutrition to every client in the form of 3 meals a day, 7 days a week.
