As the state family policy council associated with Focus on the Family, we are interested in all issues that affect Louisiana families and believe that what strengthens Louisiana’s families, strengthens Louisiana. We stand on three core family values that we believe are fundamental to healthy communities: the value of sexual restraint and faithfulness within marriage, the value of marital commitment, and the value of loving, intentional parenting. Our goal is to assist you in making informed, family-friendly policy decisions. We expect to accomplish this objective by providing relevant research, education and policy positions that support Louisiana families. We also work closely with Louisiana’s faith-filled communities to provide the necessary safety net that the civil government often struggles to keep in place.
