Lend A Helping Paw® Shih Tzu Rescue (LAHPSTR) is an all- volunteer, Michigan-based 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of abused, neglected, abandoned, displaced, or otherwise homeless, fluffy, small-breed dogs, primarily Shih Tzu and Lhasa Apsos. We also operate a Forever Foster “sanctuary” program where dogs may live out their natural lives, if adoption is not possible due to age, health, or behavior.
