The mission of MidSouth Animal Rescue League, as a network of individuals and rescue organizations, is to improve the plight of homeless animals dying in local shelters by providing rescue, shelter, medical care, adoption services, and foster homes. To assist other agencies in investigating incidents of animal cruelty, abandonment, and neglect. To reduce pet overpopulation by advocating spay/neuter programs. To reduce the number of homeless animals entering MidSouth shelters by promoting responsible pet ownership, permanent identification, and the humane and compassionate treatment of all animals.
