Cause Description:
St. Francis Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding quality homes for animals in need. We operated out of foster home environments which provides socialization skills. All animals are spayed/neutered... no exceptions! Adoption fee is required and includes all shots, rabies, heartworm test and/or up-to-date heartworm prevention, and alteration. Adoption application and agreement required. Out-of-state adoptions welcome, so long as new owner is willing and able to make all transportation arrangements. We are located approximately 1 hour north of Nashville, TN on the TN/KY border. Public donations and volunteer support keep us in operation as there are no paid employees and very little overhead costs. Over 75% of our funding goes to veterinary costs.
